The Light

Last night’s sunset was spectacular at Cape Jourimain’s lighthouse. Despite our usual weather apps predicting a cloudy colourless sunset, I could see heavy low clouds near a blue sky. We checked the winds direction and headed into the thick clouds hoping the wind would push these away at just the right time. We almost turned around since it almost looked as if our timing would be off. To my great surprise, the timing was perfect. The clouds lit up with pink, red and orange colours for about 10 minutes. Just enough time for me to photograph the lighthouse and enjoy the light show.🌅⁠
