Sunset Hut

Another display of what Mexico has to offer. Here we are on the small Island of Isla Mujeres, a 15 minute ferry ride from Cancun. Isla Mujeres has quite the charm in itself despite being relatively touristy. We spent 2 full days on this Island known for its beautiful beaches and great snorkelling conditions. We rented a golf cart and drove around the island the first time to make sure we would see the whole Island. The West side has beaches to swim and snorkel while the East side is completely rugged with crashing waves into jagged rocks. We explored the island as much as we could and decided that the best beach for sunset would be in Playa Northe. I honestly researched for hours to try to find an old wooden dock surrounded by turquoise water to photograph the sunset. Google earth found this place which was accessible. Although it was not what I had in mind, I like the end result.
