Snow Falls

Our Canadian landscape changes significantly between seasons. The winter time has a special look to it. Untouched snow has a great texture and the water seems to darken. The colours are few but they make for an interesting black and white image. I stayed in this spot for almost 3 hours, walking with water above my ankles in this river and trying to find the perfect angle. There was a snow storm while I was out to make things even more interesting. I enjoy photographing these places in the winter. I wish the provincial parks and scenic areas would remain open so we could explore even further. One of the benefits of living in Canada is to have seasons and we should make the most of all of them.
