Paradise pool

How about this cool Cenote in Ik Kil! This one is located right next to the ruins in Tchitchen Itza in Valladolid. We try to avoid very touristy places, but then again this was too beautiful to pass. We got here very early, before the tour buses would have the chance to arrive to get the place all to ourselves. We stayed for a brief moment, wanting to come back in a better lighting time of day. When we came back, the parking lot was full, there were lineups to descend into the Cenote and this was really not our thing. From a photography perspective, it was relatively difficult to get a good shot without getting people in the background. Luckily enough, I scrolled through our images and found this quiet morning shot. If you visit this area in the future, I still recommend seeing this cenote because it is gorgeous. However, there are other off the beaten path Cenotes that you can have all to yourself. Can you spot Melanie in the image here?
