Lavender Dreams

Finally got to the Lavender’s in Provence in it’s peak season. We had this on our bucket list for some time now. The fields are perfectly aligned with these gorgeous symmetrical purple lavenders. The scent from the lavender adds to the experience. There are so many different fields with different things to photograph that this is a small paradise for landscape photographers. To make the most out of it, we had rented a small RV. We slept under the stars and got out to take photos under the milky way and for sunrise and sunset. After sunsets, we set the alarm for 2:00am and stayed awake until after sunrise to create the most appealing images. It was not a very relaxing trip but it is rewarding to come back home and enjoy these images all over again.
