Devil’s Teeth

Senja was one of the most spectacular landscapes we had seen in the winter time. I really felt like an explorer in this area. Every day was a new adventure, hiking up mountains, trails and staying up all night to see the aurora. This shot was taken at full moon, and it was almost as if it was daylight. In the winter, there is about a month that goes by without any light, and gradually in the summer, there are days when the sun never goes down. The moon light was great so we could actually see the landscape from a far distance. It also allowed us to have a couple of shots whit clean foregrounds. The aurora appeared every night and that created a problem for us,,, lack of sleep 😋. We couldn’t go to bed at night without being awaken by the green light coming through our cabin window. It was amazing!
