Cape Forchu Galaxy

This is a special image that I took from Yarmouth at Cape Forchu. I slept here alone under the stars with the ocean waves crashing into the rocks. You could not only hear the waves but you could feel how violent the ocean can be. Trying to find an interesting foreground was a challenge, but the water on the rocks had an interesting pattern with almost an eagle shape to it. I took the image of the stars between 1-3 am in the morning and then a properly exposed one for the lighthouse. I slept there without moving my camera to be awaken by the blue hour light to take another image of the foreground with much better details. Since I was close to the ground, I used focused stacking to get all of the details from front to back. This is a complex shot, but that is why I love photography. I took a difficult time in my career and turned it into art.
